AI Automation Engineer – Workflow & Orchestration

In this role, you won't just experiment with prompts; you will architect the systems that make AI reliable, scalable, and observable for businesses operating at scale.

• Integrate AI into live production workflows, including ticketing, onboarding, and complex support flows.
• Design and build event-driven systems and asynchronous, queue-based architectures to handle high-volume operations.
• Develop reusable workflow components and tool abstractions for our internal multi-agent orchestrator.
• Implement comprehensive observability and tracing using tools like Langfuse and Kibana to debug and optimize distributed LLM failures.
• Continuously improve system reliability, latency, and cost-efficiency for all existing AI-driven operational flows.
• Collaborate with Service Excellence Architects and Backend Engineers to translate manual SOPs into automated code.

• Proven experience in Backend/System Engineering and Workflow Orchestration.
• Deep expertise in API design and Event-driven Architecture (Webhooks, Queues, Retries).
• Strong proficiency in Asynchronous Processing and designing for Idempotency.
• Direct experience with Production LLM Integration, including handling prompt limits, hallucinations, and fallback logic.
• Hands-on experience with Tool-calling and Multi-step reasoning workflows (Agents).

• Experience working with Vector databases.
• Familiarity with modern data stacks like Planetscale, Supabase, or Postgres.
• Experience managing and scaling Message queues.

• Successful migration of manual SOPs into automated AI-driven workflows.
• Reduction in latency and operational cost of AI orchestration flows.
• System reliability and uptime for production automation agents.
• Speed of resolution for production LLM failures through advanced observability.
