Technology Specialist Advisor (Banking)

As a Principal Technology Specialist Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital future of a leading retail bank. Your expertise will guide the strategic development and implementation of a modern, fintech-style online banking platform, directly impacting customer growth and retention and driving the bank's digital transformation journey.

• Provide strategic oversight and guidance at monthly Board meetings, shaping the bank's technological direction.
• Critically review and refine the overall IT plans and technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Coach and mentor the Group CIO, fostering leadership and technical excellence within the IT organization.
• Present on critical IT issues, emerging technologies, and strategic trends to key stakeholders, including the Board and executive leadership.

• Proven experience as a former or current Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) in a significant organization.
• Deep expertise in Cloud Strategy & Infrastructure, with a track record of successful cloud adoption and transformation.
• Demonstrated ability to drive Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation and leverage AI for business advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of Mobile Banking Technology and best practices for developing engaging user experiences.

• Successful launch and adoption of the new fintech-style online banking platform.
• Achievement of key digital transformation milestones and KPIs.
