We are looking for a driven Software Engineer to develop and optimize high-performance systems for quantitative research and market data processing. In this role, you will directly improve the speed and accuracy of financial risk modeling while enhancing user engagement through optimized storefront features and internal tools.
- Design and implement temporal cache systems to support fast daily computation of equity risk models.
- Optimize complex algorithms for mathematical set operations to improve system performance and evaluation speed.
- Create real-time market data servers and symbol/route mapping systems for trade feed consumption.
- Develop internal code generation libraries and tools to enhance compiler type-checking and semantic correctness.
- Build full-stack internal dashboards and content management systems using React, GraphQL, and modern backend frameworks.
- Proven experience developing with Python and C++ for high-performance applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React for full-stack development.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database management.
- Deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment with moderate autonomy.
- Experience with OCaml, PHP, or Hack.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and cloud services like AWS.
- Experience with frameworks such as Flask, Spring Boot, or Node.js.
- Background in distributed data systems.
- Reduction in latency for equity risk model computations.
- Successful deployment and performance stability of real-time market data servers.
- Efficiency gains in the development lifecycle via internal code generation tools.
