PLM AI Engineer (Mid-Senior)

Join GJ Tech to lead the digital transformation of a global fashion powerhouse. We are looking for an ambitious AI Engineer to build the intelligent foundation of our Product Lifecycle Management platform, turning complex data into a competitive advantage as we scale across the GCC and Europe.

• Design and build AI-powered features for data enrichment, product attribute generation, and documentation support.
• Develop and maintain production-grade RAG systems using internal datasets for contextual and high-accuracy outputs.
• Integrate LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) into production workflows, including advanced prompt engineering and interaction logic.
• Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs that connect AI capabilities to the core PLM platform.
• Collaborate directly with designers and supply chain teams to translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to the strategic AI roadmap by identifying and prototyping high-impact use cases for fashion-tech.

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend engineering using Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
• Proven hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into production environments.
• Practical experience with RAG systems, semantic search, and vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
• Strong proficiency in API design and complex system integration.
• Professional fluency in English with excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical collaboration.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment with high decision-making speed.

• Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like React or Next.js.
• Previous experience in fashion, retail, or supply chain technology environments.
• Experience integrating with ERP or legacy enterprise systems.

• Successful deployment of AI-powered data enrichment modules within the first 6 months.
• Measurable reduction in manual documentation time for product development teams.
• Accuracy and latency benchmarks met for production RAG systems.
