Head of exchange operations

As the Head of Exchange Operations, you will step into a high-autonomy role designed to bridge the gap between traditional market structure and the burgeoning digital asset space. You are the architect of our operational excellence, responsible for building a team from the ground up and ensuring our venue meets the highest standards of regulatory readiness and scalable performance. • Own and evolve the end-to-end operating model, covering market readiness, monitoring, and incident response.
• Design and implement robust operational processes and controls across trading, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate closely with product and technology teams to operationalize tokenized products and digital asset instruments.
• Partner with legal, compliance, and risk departments to ensure total audit readiness and adherence to regulatory obligations.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team while driving aggressive automation and process optimization.
• Manage external counterparty relationships and maintain real-time communication across the ecosystem.

• Proven experience in exchange or trading venue operations within a regulated environment.
• Significant exposure to tokenization, digital assets, and blockchain-based financial instruments.
• Deep understanding of market structure and the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
• Demonstrated expertise in process design, incident management, and operational risk controls.
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

• Experience scaling a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF), ATS, or digital asset venue.
• Familiarity with institutional digital asset custody and wallet management operations.
• Knowledge of smart contract-related operational dependencies and DeFi protocols.
• Experience working within or scaling a startup-to-mid-size fintech environment.

• Establishment of a scalable, 24/7 operating model within the first 6 months.
• Successful recruitment and onboarding of the core operations team.
• Achievement of 100% compliance with regulatory reporting and audit requirements.
• High degree of automation in reconciliation and settlement processes.
